The first South Wales Hub of the Energy Institute's Young Professional Network sponsored by amber energy takes place on the 15th November 2017. Founded by amber energy’s Energy Solutions Engineer Pilar de Dios Mendo, it brings the opportunity for networking and learning for young professionals in the energy sector.

Pilar said “After nine years working in the energy sector I have always had difficulties in finding professionals with the same interests as me. The initiative from amber and the EI in forming this South Wales hub of the YPN and organising this event is a great opportunity to meeting professionals related to different areas within the energy sector and develop a network for sharing knowledge and best practice”

The agenda includes a talk on professional development from Ian Beynon, amber energy’s Head of Engineering and the Institute's youngest fellow. With vast experience in energy management and energy services delivery, Ian will explain how professional development has furthered his career. Ian is a Chartered Energy Manager, Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP), ESOS Assessor and ISO50001 EnMS Lead Auditor. Tickets for the event are free and can be accessed here:
