Head of Bureau Services

Ben is the Head of Bureau Services at amber, overlooking his team of experts to ensure that every bill we receive is thoroughly checked, validated and any issues are chased up and resolved. With over a decade of industry experience behind him, there isn’t much in the way of energy bills that Ben hasn’t come up against. Creating customer reports and helping to set realistic energy budgets are a large part of the activities that Ben’s team carries out. He loves the variety and the challenges that the complexities of queries within the industry provides – if a problem does come up that Ben hasn’t seen before then he won’t let it go until it’s fully resolved.

Amy Owen

With a decade’s experience in the energy industry, Amy is one of our expert Bureau Analysts with a wealth of experience in bureau, procurement and connections. Needless to say, this experience makes it extremely easy to work collaboratively with the other teams within amber as there’s not much about the energy industry that Amy doesn’t know. Her true strength lies in excel and report building, query management, as well as being omnipotent when it comes to Optima.

Ciara Murphy

Ciara  is one of our Bureau Analysts, taking great care in checking our client’s utility bills to ensure that they appear as they should and there are no errors or anomalies.  With over 6 years of industry experience Ciara has seen errors ranging from a few pence to thousands of pounds in overcharges. Ciara has a keen eye for detail so if there is an error on your bill you can trust she will find it, chase the supplier down and resolve it to ensure clients do not pay more than they should.

Lucy Taylor

Lucy joined amber energy® straight out of university, starting as our Graduate Bureau Analyst as part of the Bureau Team. Her expertise in data and business information systems have the way for her career here, making the transition into the world of work as simple as possible. While Lucy may not have years of experience behind her, she has a natural talent to be able to take raw data and derive meaning from it in a way that can be clearly understood by our clients.

Paul Thomas

Paul is a highly experienced Bureau Analyst, having worked as an Account Manager for some of the biggest Councils and Housing Associations in the London area. Building strong relationships and delivering a bespoke service is very important to Paul, ensuring that the work he delivers is thoroughly understood. Paul is at home with complex metering and regeneration work, creating reports and developing processes to deliver an improved journey.
