Amber Talks Podcast

Podcasts have become one of the most intimate and accessible ways to learn about the world around us. Whether you're commuting, walking the dog, or enjoying a quiet evening, a good podcast can turn ordinary moments into opportunities for discovery. At amber energy, we believe that knowledge is power—especially when it comes to energy and sustainability. That's why we're proud to introduce the Amber Talks Podcast, a series of conversations designed to demystify the energy landscape, share expert insights, and inspire meaningful action.
What is Amber Talks?
Amber Talks is a monthly podcast produced by amber energy, hosted by our in-house energy specialists and featuring a rotating cast of guests from across the industry. Each episode dives deep into a specific topic, ranging from practical energy-saving tips for businesses to the latest developments in renewable technology and government policy. The goal is simple: to make energy understandable and actionable for everyone, from small business owners to sustainability managers at large corporations.
Unlike many industry podcasts that can feel overly technical or sales-driven, Amber Talks is designed to be conversational and accessible. We avoid jargon where possible, and when we do use technical terms, we take the time to explain them. Our hosts are not just experts—they're passionate communicators who love answering the questions you didn't even know you had.
Why We Started a Podcast
The energy sector is changing faster than ever. From the rise of electric vehicles to the increasing affordability of solar panels, the way we produce and consume energy is undergoing a fundamental shift. Yet for many people, these changes feel overwhelming or out of reach. We started Amber Talks to bridge that gap—to bring the conversation directly to you in a format that fits your life.

We also know that the best insights often come from real conversations. A podcast allows us to explore topics in depth, to ask follow-up questions, and to let our guests share their stories in their own words. It's a medium that encourages curiosity and reflection, and we think that's exactly what the energy conversation needs right now.
“Energy is not just a commodity; it's the foundation of modern life. The more we understand it, the better choices we can make for our businesses, our communities, and our planet.”
What You Can Expect from Each Episode
Each episode of Amber Talks is structured to be both informative and engaging. We typically start with a brief overview of the topic, then move into a deeper discussion with our guest. Along the way, we pause to answer common questions, debunk myths, and share practical tips you can implement right away.
- Episode length: Most episodes run between 30 and 45 minutes—long enough to go deep, but short enough to fit into a lunch break.
- Guest variety: We feature energy consultants, sustainability officers, technology innovators, and even policymakers. Our aim is to bring you a range of perspectives.
- Actionable takeaways: Every episode ends with a “Three Things to Do This Week” segment, where we summarise the key points and suggest concrete steps you can take.
- Listener questions: We regularly invite our audience to submit questions in advance, and we answer as many as we can on air.
